      Hi!

      I am born at the end of November, so I am a Sagittarius!

      I think astrology is a lot of fun, it’s always creepy when it matches up with what you think or feel and it’s an easy conversation starter in the right setting. But here’s the big thing – it matches up with what everyone thinks and feels! So have fun, but make sure you don’t spend any money on it, or base any life choices on it.

      There’s a very cool book called Paranormality by Richard Wiseman which I read when I was about 16, which has all sorts of explanations about how things like horoscopes and fortunes seem to apply so well to so many people, and why we believe them. It’s a lot to do with hedging your bets and keeping things vague, or saying things that really apply to a lot of people eg “You like spending time with your friends, but sometimes you need alone time” (that really applies to everyone but you feel special because it sounds specific).

      I hope that’s interesting – the psychology of these sort of things can be fascinating!
