• Question: what came first a chicken or a chicken egg

      From an evolutionary point of view, this is actually really simple….definitly the egg! Eggs have been around for millions of years, chickens evolved later. So from a logical point of view, over time, eggs would have been laid by a chicken ancestor (something like a chicken but not quite) and slowly but surely over millions of years the animal that came out of the egg was different enough to be classed as a different species – a chicken 🐣 This is due to evolution and a process called natural selection
