      This forms a non-newtonian fluid, its viscosity (fancy word for runny-ness) changes based on the forces or stresses applied to it. Hit it hard (add a large force), it behaves as a solid. Low force, it behaves as a liquid. Ketchup is another non-newtonian fluid but it acts the opposite to cornstarch and water. Hit it and it behaves as a liquid (like when you shake the bottle). Under low force, its a solid (like when it has been sitting on the side for a while)
