I’ve always thought science was cool. It can explain the world around us like why things fall to the ground, why we get sick or why do plants grow the way they do for example! Having said that, I did find some topics in school not as interesting or difficult. Also, once a lot of complicated maths got thrown in to things like chemistry it got tough for me and so at times, not quite as enjoyable. Outside of school I have always enjoyed science, nature or technology shows on TV or in magazines growing up – I liked being able to learn about how things worked without having to take a test on things.
