I took a module at university all about neuroscience. Its fascinating, the brain is incredibly complex and there is so much to learn and understand. There is lots of research currently being conducted related to these fields as there is still so much we don’t know and so many potential real-world benefits like better understanding and treating certain negative mental health issues or physical brain injuries.

Sorry no – but my sister-in-law studied psychology at university and is now a scientist doing that! She used to study how being infected with HIV affected people’s mental health, especially if they were over 50. It was a fascinating and understudied topic! Since then, she has worked on how to help people stop smoking, and on campaigns about bullying. This is a field called Health Psychology.
