I myself am not particularly religious. I was raised a Christian and so hold many of the values and teachings however I don’t believe there is a higher-being but I do respect those who do think so, their beliefs are very valid too. believe that people should be free to believe in what they want to believe in, being a scientist does not mean you cannot be religious…quite the opposite, I know many people in science who actively practice a religion 🙏🏻☪️✝️🕎☸️🕉️☦️☯️
That’s a difficult question. I was raised in a Christian family in Spain. At the moment, and after having lived in many countries such as India, Brazil, Sierra Leone, England, and having met people from many different religions, I do not believe in a particular religion myself and consider myself agnostic. This means, that I don’t know if God exists or not. I respect all religions and I really value the morals and beliefs that religions share. 🙂
I personally don’t, but there’s nothing to stop scientists being religious! (I do love going to the pagan fire festivals that happen on May day and halloween in Edinburgh though!)
