I’m happy to be a scientist because its a fascinating and rewarding job – there are always new questions to try and answer! I’m proud of being one too, because I had to work hard to get to where I am, and because my research has the potential to improve people’s lives. If I were to do another job though, I would love to work in a zoo actually. I love animals and it would be great to spend every day with them!
I am very happy and proud to be a scientist. It is rewarding to know that the work I am doing each day contributes towards improving people’s lives around the world, advancing our knowledge of science and also fuels more research in the future. If I wasn’t a research scientist, I would probably be a science communicator. This is a role still related to research science but focuses more on sharing the scientific findings with the general population in-person, in-writing, online, on the radio, on TV etc. I think this is such an important job as its necessary to share research and scientific findings for it to have a real impact on the globe. It sounds cool but its tough to get in to!
That’s an interesting question. I am very happy being a scientist and I am proud to think that our job helps many people. However, I think I could also be interested in doing other similar jobs, such as being a public health specialist.
I would also love to do documentaries about diseases and epidemics! 😉
I am so proud to be doing science. I feel really lucky that I get to do this job every day and do research that might help people! I am very happy doing what I do. If I had to do a different job, I would be a stage manager in the theatre – it involves bossing people about, running productions, meeting great people, travelling. I used to do it a lot at university and I had a lot of fun!
