I believe I should win because I am enthusiastic about all aspects of science and I want to create a positive change in the world. I am truly passionate about spreading the findings and understanding of science and research.

I think if I were to win the competition, I would use the outreach money to do something really important. I would like to go to schools to explain how maths and sexually transmitted infections are linked, and the research being done by mathematicians into their spread. This will be an outreach event, but it would also teach people practical knowledge on how to stop the spread of STIs.

That being said, whoever wins I’m sure will do something great with the money!

I’d love to win because being able to teach more secondary school kids about practical coding in biology would be really fun! I think it’s a great programme, it makes science at school more interesting, and it gives a different view to what being a biologist can be about.
Everyone’s ideas sound very cool though, so whoever does win will do something fun!
