1 Question: why is the sky pink Keywords: colour, sky Asked by anon-186319 to Verity on 8 Nov 2018.
Verity Hill answered on 8 Nov 2018:
The sky turns pink in the evening because sunlight passes through more air when the sun is low in the sky. Pink and red light is better at travelling than blue, so it can get through more air molecules. Or you’re living in a cartoon One or the other
