      I don’t work on people much any more, but when I was doing my masters, I worked on Typhoid fever! I met a woman who had a fever of 41 which is very very high, but she’d still been going to work for a week. It must have been really difficult for her

      I don’t work directly with the people who have the diseases I research – I am a type of researcher known as a mathematical modeller, so the type of work I do is all on a computer!
