  At the moment, it is more likely to get worse, sadly. We have lots of research showing this problem, and that it is likely to grow unless we do certain things. The challenge is in getting politicians to prioritise this issue. Politics is a tricky thing, and balancing all the interests, needs and wants across a society is very difficult.
  
  having said that, things can easily change, and things could get better. There are some quite specific policies we could do that would help. Such as building more houses, and then making sure the homeless can access them.
